Being the game nuts that we are at Idigital Technologies, we get to try out some of the coolest toys out there. We received our pair of E-D glasses and at first we were disappointment, I mean they didn't offer any ultraviolet protection, and they didn't pull any chicks, although that might be me. But then we hook them up to a computer and BOOOOOOM!!.. That was the sound of our jaws hitting the floor. These glasses should be mandatory under government regulation for anyone who plays games. You always here about the good 3D shooters out there, well with these glasses you can actually make your 3D shooter, 3D. The glasses actually produce a stereoscopic affect that allows each of your eyes to see a slightly different point of view, thus producing a 3D image. 3D glasses are not new, they have been around for a while. The old 3d glasses, like these, used alternating LCD blinders to filter each eye's view. However, the old 3D glasses were slow and you could actually see the flicker in the glasses, and thet would result in a very fast headache. E-Dimensional E-D glasses are so fast that you don't even see the flicker. As a matter of fact, before I put the glasses on, they looked like they were not working. Well I slipped them on and yes they were working. I must say that it is extremely nice to play MS Flight Simulator 2002 with these glasses. It is like you can actually reach out and touch the objects. The nice thing about these glasses is that they a compatible with most of your games without having to patch them. So all you do is plug up and play. It is only in the beginning part of the year but I can say that these glasses are the Product of the Year, unless they make it where you can actually smell the blood and guts of a game like Quake III, or someone make a product that give great 3D game play along with a solution for peace in the Middle East! I can say all kinds of creative stuff about these glasses but I can sum everything up in one sentence.......Get the glasses and kicks some serious a** in REAL 3D!!!!!
